Temptation

When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me." For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; (James 1:13 NIV)

temp·ta·tion
\tem(p)-ˈtā-shən\
noun
The first time temptation was mentioned in history was in Genesis.

Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?" The woman said to the serpent, "We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.'" "You will not certainly die," the serpent said to the woman. "For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. (Genesis 3:1-6 NIV)

In a perfect world, there would be no temptation. Like I'm the garden, but God gave us a choice. To believe in Him or to not. There is only ONE person that will lead you into being tempted , that would be Satan.

Sa·tan
\ˈsā-tən\

noun
  • 1 : the angel who in Jewish belief is commanded by God to tempt humans to sin, to accuse the sinners, and to carry out God's punishment
  • 2 : the rebellious angel who in Christian belief is the adversary of God andlord of evil
So God created Satan and evil... Yeah, you're thinking whyyyyy, why, WHY!
Because He gave us that choice. That choice to bleive in him or not. Because we are not perfect in any way. So we are going to fall into that enticement in sin. And the ONLY Person that can forgive you and take away all that sin is Jesus. Died on the cross for us, the Man who deserves all our prase.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well. (Psalm 139:14 NIV)

So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:27 NIV)
